I talked to Monica, finally. Her, Jon, and the baby were in Oregon for 2 weeks for Christmas with his family. She was telling me that Jon just found out that his next job site, he works in construction, is going to be in North Nevada. Which means that they will probably be living in Oregon because his parents own a house there, which is only around 3 hours away from where the job site will be. I'm so sad!! I am going to miss my best friend a lot! Hopefully the site gets changed last minute!
My hubby has been working a lot more that last week. I guess now that Christmas is over, they are getting a lot more work. That is good, hopefully I can catch up on the bills. I just checked my Verizon statement.. I owe $253 for our cell phones. Damn. That's two and a half months plus late fees. I've been putting off paying it so that I could get Christmas presents. I also have to pay my car payment
My mom had knee surgery on Monday. I forgot to mention that in here. I took her, and spent the whole day waiting in the waiting room. It was exploratory surgery, but they found that she had rough edges so they smoothed them while they were in there. They said within five years she is going to need a partial knee replacement. Before they do it, they want her to loose 40 lbs, putting her at a healthy weight, so that she doesn't cause damage to the replacement.
While I waited for her, I was reading Twilight. I got so hooked when I came home that night I finished reading the entire book. I loved it! Now I can't wait to read New Moon, and to see the movie.
Well, I should be doing the chores.. ick. Until next time.
